The Las Vegas Raiders and Arizona Cardinals will air on NFL Network and local TV stations at 10 p.m. ET Saturday, Aug. 23, 2025.

The 2025 NFL Preseason draws to a close on Saturday night with the final game of the exhibition slate taking place at 10 p.m. EST. Tonight, the Arizona Cardinals host the Las Vegas Raiders for one more tune-up opportunity as these teams duel in the desert. While the Cards take a more conservative approach, the Raiders may have starters available, so there’s plenty of reason to tune in — and fire up a couple of picks on DraftKings Sportsbook.

Arizona Cardinals
These Cardinals are 1-1 in the NFL Preseason so far with a 20-17 win over the Kansas City Chiefs and a 27-7 loss to the Denver Broncos. The starters have seen very little work as Kyler Murray’s thrown just eight passes and James Conner took just three carries in his lone game. Those guys certainly won’t suit up, so it’ll be second-stringers making starts on Saturday night.

Las Vegas Raiders
The Raiders come into this game with an 0-1-1 record through the NFL Preseason thus far. They tied 23-23 in the opening contest against the Seattle Seahawks before falling to the San Francisco 49ers in a 22-19 final last week, so there’s reason to believe the team comes out with a strong response as they try and end things on a high note. Head coach Pete Carroll said the first team should be live once again, but it’s tough to tell which starters actually see time.

Maybe this is the season he proves why Las Vegas used such a high pick on him, and Wilson has shown in training camp that he could be poised to take a big step forward.

“The whole camp, he’s been doing a solid job,” coach Pete Carroll said. “We’ve called on him in a number of ways to keep going and keep pushing. We’re really trying to make sure that we put him in the right spots that take advantage of his skills and in his comfort and so that he can play at his best.”

That includes playing Wilson defensive end or tackle.

He was drafted as an edge rusher after making seven sacks each of his final two seasons at Texas Tech, but also has been used inside not only in Las Vegas but in college.

“It’s the quickest path to the quarterback being inside,” Wilson said. “You go through the guard, the quarterback is really going to be standing right there.”

Wilson has been playing catch-up since the Raiders drafted him. A foot injury in his final season at Texas Tech forced him to sit out of organized team activities and minicamp, and Wilson didn’t get onto the practice field until well into training camp.

The result? Wilson didn’t record a sack his rookie until Week 7 against Chicago. He wound up making 3 1/2 by season’s end, but no one was mistaking his pass rushing abilities for teammate Maxx Crosby.
