Victoria’s weather forecast this week is a bit of a mixed bag, with some rain predicted early in the week and temperatures reaching up to 27°C by the weekend.
According to the latest predictions from Environment Canada, this week will start out a bit dreary with the forecast for Tuesday, August 5th calling for a mix of sun and clouds during the day. The high for the day is expected to be around 20°C.
Overnight on Tuesday, temperatures will dip down to a low of 13°C and Environment Canada is forecasting a 30% chance of showers.
Wednesday’s forecast is expected to be another gloomy one, with a high of 20°C, a mix of sun and cloud and a continued 30% chance of showers through the day. Overnight, the showers may continue and the predicted low is expected to be 12°C.
By Thursday, the clouds should dissipate, but temperatures will remain around 20°C.
On Friday, temperatures are expected to rise a bit to a high of 21°C. This trend will continue through Saturday when the high is expected to get up to 23°C.
Then on Sunday, things will really start to heat up in Victoria. Environment Canada is calling for sunny conditions and highs of 27°C on both Sunday and Monday.
Overnight lows will hover around 12°C and 15°C from Friday through until Sunday.
With a bit of a banal long weekend now behind Victoria, this upcoming weekend’s forecast will no doubt be a welcomed one for both locals and those visiting.
